Six The Musical - Trip Postponement

Dear Parents

 

We have taken the decision to postpone the trip to ‘Six The Musical’ tomorrow.

 

I had hoped to avoid this and am doing so reluctantly, as the venue is air conditioned and the show would be a lovely experience for the students. There will doubtless be a lot of tourists out and about in London too.

 

However, Southeastern rail have issued a warning not to travel by rail this week unless ‘absolutely necessary’ which I am of course following.

Mrs Johnson and I laughed together this morning that our national infrastructure might not always be as resilient as we would like. But Mrs Johnson is as ever resilient and intrepid. She is in the process of negotiating an alternative day before the end of term for students to travel and view the performance. We will let you know as soon as we have details of this.
