Hot Weather Forecast for the coming week

I hope you have all enjoyed the lovely weekend weather.

The Met Office is forecasting temperatures well in excess of 30 degrees during the coming week.

For this week, students may choose to wear their school uniform without blazer or tie. Alternatively, they may choose to wear their Brockhill PE kit to school.

 

However, we will not tolerate any non-uniform or non Brockhill PE kit items (e.g. beachwear, non Brockhill PE shorts etc.).

 

Generally, I am quite happy just to ‘loosen’ our blazer and sometimes tie requirement on hot days, but the forecast sustained temperatures of well in excess of 30 degrees over several days are another matter.

 

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday look to be particularly hot with a cooling to below 30 degrees on Friday – Sports Day.

Students should bring plenty of water with them and may wear a sun hat. Sun cream would be a good idea too.
