Letter to Parents 15th October 2025
October 10th 2025
Dear Parents
We had awarded 3914 Excellent Effort Points as of the end of morning break today. Behind each one of these lies vital family support. Thank you, parents and families for all your support and encouragement!
Earlier in the term, we held on site Meet the Tutor and starting out this year events for each Year Group. If you were unable to attend, school leaders have prepared an audio presentation of what they ran through with parents on the evenings.

Year 11 information evening Yr12 &13 information evening
This week, girls and boys have variously participated in football fixtures, where Year 7 boys did particularly well, the Ashford and Shepway cross country championship hosted at Brockhill and an introduction to golf event at the Imperial Hotel. Elsewhere, Brockhill volunteers took part in a community litter pick, and our Year 11 Geography GCSE students have visited Stratford Westfield shopping centre for their Fieldwork.
Punctuality and personal organisation are vital life skills, and we speak regularly to students about this. Where students are regularly late in the morning or later in the day to lessons, this is disruptive to the teaching and learning of all. Please ensure you can access the SIMs Parent App, and if you have any problems doing so, please contact us at office@brockhill.kent.sch.uk
As per our calendar and by way of reminder, Parent Subject Consultation Days will take place online for Years 11 & 13 on Friday, October 17th and Years 10 & 12 on Monday, October 27th. Students will carry out their learning at home on line Friday, October 17th and Monday, October 27th. They will work on and submit assignments, which will be set in Google Classroom. No student should attend school on these days. We will then look forward to welcoming students back to on site learning at Brockhill on Tuesday, October 28th.
Our Sixth Form Open Evening for Year 11 students and their parents takes place on site on Tuesday, November 11th. During the evening, we will be talking about post 16 applications and study in general and at Brockhill Park Sixth Form in particular. We will write separately to Year 11 parents about this next week. NB – please do not confuse this event with the online Year 11 Parents’ Subject Consultation Day, on Friday, October 17th. We will write separately to parents in Year 11 about the Sixth Form Open Evening after half-term.
Yours sincerely,
Charles Joseph
Principal
