Non-uniform day this Friday, February 13th.
Dear Parents and Carers
Brockhill Park Performing Arts College will be holding a non-uniform day this Friday, February 13th.
The school has chosen to support the work of the NSPPC - www.nspcc.org.uk and the NSPCC Number Day.
The school has supported the work of the NSPPC over a number of years and we will speak in Tutor Groups this week about their work.
We are also supporting Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children https://www.gosh.nhs.uk/ which maintains our link with the hospital, following our very own Mr Jacob Zintel-Warner’s cycling around the world last year to raise money for this wonderful, world renowned British institution.
We aim to raise a healthy amount of money to support the valuable work of the NSPCC and Great Ormond Street.
We are asking students to donate £1 for this non-uniform day and they are invited to wear an item of clothing with a ‘number theme.’
The day will operate as a ‘dress down’ day for staff who will also be contributing.
Since the start of the school year, we have raised over £4000 for charity, and we are proud of our students and their commitment to supporting others.
Yours sincerely,
Charles Joseph
Principal
