Year 7 Parents’ Subject Consultation Evening

                                                                                                                 December 9th 2025

Dear Parents

Thank you for your continued support of the school and your daughter or son.

As per our school calendar, we will host a Year 7 Parents’ Subject Consultation Evening consisting of 5 minute video appointments with subject teachers for Year7 students on Tuesday, December 16th. The Parents’ Consultation Evening will run remotely with the School Cloud system from 3.30 (2.30 with a few staff) until 8pm. We are very much looking forward to ‘seeing’ all our students with their parents on the evening.

Parents and students will also have the opportunity to meet with their Academy Guidance Manager to discuss their daughter or son’s daily school life:

Eden – Mrs Muddiman

Medway – Miss Gear

Rother – Mrs Wilson

Stour – Mrs Hillier

In addition, for relevant parents there will be the opportunity to meet with our SENCO, Mr Simpson, Mr Aslett, Deputy SENCO Designate or Assistant SENCO, Mrs Negus and Mr Norton, Well-Being Coordinator, as well our Learning Support Assistant colleagues, who support students in classrooms or the Michael Palin Centre.

The appointments will give students and parents the opportunity to take stock of learning in school since September and to discuss next steps to secure the best possible performance up to the end of this school year.

Bookings will open from 4.30pm today and remain open until next Monday at 3pm. It may not be possible to book appointments thereafter.
