Letter to Parents 31st October 2025

October 31st 2025

Dear Parents and Students

This week has simply flown by.

Looking back, I have not requested contributions to the School Voluntary Fund since 2021, on account of the economic and financial challenges of these past years.

I need to make that request now and ask that all parents make a contribution to our School Voluntary Fund. This fund will allow us to offer access to school trips, clubs and uniform for all.

We are requesting each family donate £2 per month by standing order.

Bank: Lloyds TSB

Account Name: Brockhill Park Performing Arts Voluntary Fund

Sort Code: 30-93-34

Account No: 02941356

For the payment reference, please just give your surname / donation. We will be so grateful for your support. Alternatively, you could make a single payment of £24 or take a cheque payable to Brockhill Park Performing Arts College to our school reception in a sealed envelope. Thank you!

Next week, we will begin Remembrance activities in Daily Tutor Groups each morning as we build up to Remembrance Sunday and then Remembrance Day on Tuesday, November 11th.

This morning in our Family Friday session Academy Tutors led a ‘Movember’ assembly.

On Tuesday Ms Chase and Year 10 Art students designed a Remembrance Window in Hythe High Street, which has scored a real stir in the local area. Wednesday saw serving military personnel from the Royal Armoured Corps and Royal Engineers deliver a careers presentation to Years 11 and 12 students. Yesterday, Year 7 students participated in a Gladiators Event at Three Hills, and our Mr Aslett led a party of Years 11, 12 and 13 students to the Science Museum. In school, Mrs Copley, our school nurse led assemblies for Years 11, 12 and 13.

Next week, we will be seeking teacher nominations for students submitting their personal best assignments for the 2 online learning days either side of half-term, so we can celebrate this by commendation.

If your daughter or son is in Year 11 please see again our Sixth Form Open Evening Invitation Letter for next Tuesday.

We are grateful to our families for all their support getting their daughters and sons into school and ready to learn each day. This support is so vital and has enabled us to send 3016 Excellent Effort Points since Tuesday morning. A great note on which to end the week!

Have a lovely weekend.

Yours Sincerely,

Charles Joseph

Principal
