Homework Letter 26th August 2026

26th August 2026

Dear Parent / Guardian,

We know how important your encouragement is with Homework. Your involvement at home makes a real difference to both the quantity and quality of homework completed through the academic year. This has a direct effect on students’ progress and GCSE / A level outcomes.

Our homework booklets across subjects help make expectations clearer and allow students to work more independently and consistently. Your support in helping your child stay on track is and will be hugely appreciated.

Once again, students will be issued with a student folder. This will include:

  • A student information booklet with key guidance and information
  • A half termly homework booklet (all subject tasks). This will show a clear weekly overview of the tasks that need to be completed
  • An exercise book for homework (all subjects)
  • Travelling knowledge organisers to help with revision in school and at home

We hope this keeps Homework requirements simple and clear for everyone and supports strong communication between school and home.

Your involvement is crucial in helping us and your child succeed.

Thank you once again for your support as we start this new academic year.

Yours sincerely,

Charles Joseph

Principal
