A Level Results Press Release

Brockhill Park Performing Arts College, Hythe, Kent is again celebrating excellent A level results. This year 94% of our students achieved 2 or more passes at level 3 and 70% achieved 3 or more passes. We are very proud of all that they have achieved. 

Some of our students have achieved exceptional results. Alexa Barr achieved B, B, Merit; Tom Easby achieved A, B, C and C; Isla Jones B, B and C; Oliver Woodbridge  B, C, C and Double Distinction*, Bethany Earl Distinction* Distinction and Merit and Emily Roberts A, C and Distinction* Distinction. Our students did well in both A level and Vocational courses with top end grades being achieved in Art, Photography, English Literature, Film, Media, French, Psychology, Animal Management, IT, Business Studies and Dance.

We are proud of all our year 13 students who have worked so hard to achieve their goals.  They are moving onto their chosen destinations, and we would like to wish them well for the future and thank them for their hard work and commitment during their time at this school.

Families and teachers play a crucial role in the success of this school. Therefore the governors and I would like to thank our parents for their support and our teachers for their unstinting dedication to our students.

PHOTOS:

Emily Roberts achieved a Distinction* in Dance, a Distinction* in Applied Science and an A in geography. She is looking forward to reading Radiology at Cardiff University. She said that her standout memories of Brockhill are ‘the people and my friends’.

Max Hotine is 1 of only 6 students in the county who achieved a Double Distinction* in Animal Management. Max is going into the workplace and says that the best part of being at Brockhill was ‘working with the livestock on the school farm, with the sheep and cattle in particular’.

Isla Jones achieved B’s in English and History and a Distinction in Dance. She will be reading Criminology at the University of Surrey. She most enjoyed being in Sixth Form with her friends at Brockhill.

Oliver Woodbridge is also 1 of only 6 students in the county who achieved a Double Distinction* in Animal Management, he also achieved a B in geography and a C in Biology. He is looking forward to reading Ecology at the University of Kent, he has also become a Kent Rural Scholar with the Kent County Agricultural Society.
