Dear Parents

 

Following my letter to you yesterday about the meningitis outbreak in the Canterbury area I am writing again to let you know that we have stepped up hygiene control in school today by requesting students make frequent use of hand sanitiser of which we have plenty.

 

Over the coming days we will be issuing regular reminders about the importance of hand hygiene.

 

I also wish to offer you my personal assurance that we will proceed with an abundance of caution and of course transparency.
