Brockhill Park Performing Arts College A Level Results Press Release
Brockhill Park Performing Arts College is again celebrating excellent A level results. This year 81% of our students achieved 2 or more passes at level 3 and 56% achieved 3 or more passes. We are very proud of all that they have achieved.
Some of our students have achieved exceptional results. Leisha Huggett obtained a Distinction (A) in all her subjects, Business, Dance and Musical Theatre. Sophia Cole achieved Double Distinction* (A*, A*) in Dance, a C in Art and Design and a C in Business Studies; Hannah Gomersall achieved an A* in Biology, B in Chemistry, B in English Lit and B in Extended project; Finlay Longley obtained a B in History, B in Politics, B in Photography and C in Extended project; Poppy Keirle-Simpson a B in Sociology, B in Geography and C in Biology; Meryn Bateman, Phoebe Barbieri and Millie Leonard achieved a Double Distinction* (A*A*) in Animal Management; Tayla Scott achieved a Distinction* (A*A) in Dance. Luis Green achieved a Double Distinction (A A) in Dance; Hannah Coombs and Ruby Floyd both achieved a Double Distinction (A A) in Animal Management. The following students all obtained at least one Distinction (A) in one of their subjects; Katie Unsworth, Grace Reid and Lauren Page.
Our students did well in both A level and Vocational courses with top end grades being achieved in Art and Design, Photography, Film studies, Animal Management, Dance, Musical Theatre, Business Studies, Applied Science, Biology, Chemistry and History.
We are proud of all our year 13 students who have worked so hard to achieve their goals. They are moving onto their chosen destinations, and we would like to wish them well for the future and thank them for their hard work and commitment during their time at this school.
Families and teachers play a crucial role in the success of this school. Therefore the governors and I would like to thank our parents for their support and our teachers for their unstinting dedication to our students.

Finley Longley: Finley achieved B’s in History, Politics and Photography plus a C in the Extended Project. He is going to study Sports Photography at Nottingham Trent University, he was delighted with his results and said ‘the best part of being at Brockhill was all the support that my teachers gave me’.
Hannah Gomersall: Hannah achieved outstanding results, she got a A* in Biology, B in Chemistry, B in English Literature and a B in the Extended Project. She will be studying Biology at the University of Kent.
Poppy Kierle-Simpson: Poppy got a C in Biology, a B in Geography and a B in Sociology. She hopes to be a teacher and is going on to study Biology at the University of Kent.
Sophia Cole: Sophie achieved 2 Distinction stars in Dance, a C in Photography and a Merit in Business. She is going on to study Counter Terrorism, Intelligence and Security at the University of Portsmouth.
Tayla Scott achieved a Distinction Star Distinction in Dance and will be studying Dance at the University of Chichester.
