Dear Parents  

We started the week looking forward to the return of the students and then welcoming them back to school and end it in shock and sadness at the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth. 

Today, we have begun to commemorate Her Majesty’s long reign by talking to students about key events in her reign and will continue to do so during the period of national mourning. 

Our calendar will be adjusted to reflect the period of national mourning and we will make separate announcements around this. We will also remain mindful of the need to support individual students for whom this loss may resonate with events in their own lives.
