Update on the Student Voice Development Plan:

Objective: To update all of the components in the student voice action plan:

Task 1: Annual reports and awards/ certificates include recognition of student voice work.

Who: Miss T Temple

When: End of the summer term – awards ceremony

Outcome: Mrs Temple and student voice representatives to decide who will receive an award and Mrs Temple to generate and produce an award before the summer term.

• Compose Award
• Set up an awarding body
• Decide on criteria
• Sign Them

 

Task 2 : Students nominate students for awards

Who: Miss T Temple , L Haisell, S Harding

When: End of Term 5 to be ready for term 6

Outcome: A sheet to be drawn up and issued to all tutor groups and to get feedback on who should get awards.

• Create sheet and give to all tutor groups.
• Get feedback and decide on further action

 

Task 3: Students to write student voice article for college prospectus

Who: L Haisell, S Harding

When: before entry date for the BPPAC prospectus .

Outcome: To get prospectus from other schools and compose prospectus, then enter into the prospectus.

• Collect prospectus
• Find out date for entry
• Compose Piece
• Publish

 

Task 4: To set up a new phone system where students can text and suggest new ideas to help the SV section.

Who: Mrs T Temple, L Haisell, S Harding

When: Next Term

Outcome:

• Set up phone and trial it
• Publicise it
• Generate ideas
