Respected Teacher Passes Away After Brave Battle with Cancer
Peter Catmull, 63, from Dymchurch, Kent, sadly passed away on 23 February. The lifelong teacher at Brockhill Park Performing Arts College in Saltwood, Kent, died following a battle with cancer.
Known by all at Brockhill as a magnificent and courageous teacher, Mr Catmull devoted his entire life to the school - where he taught Drama and English over a career spanning thirty seven years.
Senior Vice Principal Charles Joseph said: ”Peter was an inspirational man and a pleasure to work with”. English teacher Ms Eastham said: “Mr Catmull was a remarkable man and will be sorely missed by students and staff”.
The social networking site Facebook has a dedicated page for the remembrance of Mr Catmull which has over 1,500 members. Brockhill will in the near future be organising an occasion to celebrate the life of a truly remarkable man.
